Walk a Mile in Her Shoes

I’m Lora, 30-something, working mom of twin 4 year-olds, Hannah and Sarah, and wife to creative and hard-working photographer, Tom.  This blog will chronicle a new personal mission to literally walk 500 miles while I raise awareness and hopefully some funds for Juvenile Diabetes Research.  I actually have two nieces, one from each side of the family, who were diagnosed with Type 1, or juvenile, diabetes around the age of 2 and this blog and experience is in their honor.  This is an experiment, one I hope that enriches my life and the lives of the many kids like Charlotte and Kaelyn who live with this chronic condition.
